Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a maximum of 20 years of experience. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  2. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and provide recommendations to senior management
  3. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  4. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  5. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
  7. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
  8. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and financial statements
  9. Manage and mentor a team of accountants and provide guidance and support as needed
  10. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
  3. Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  10. Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
