Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.oversee and supervise the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulationsAccountant responsibilities include:

  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing budget forecasts
  • Processing tax payments and returns
  • Oversee and supervise the payroll functions
Responsibilities
  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company?s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, GOSI, and other deductions.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Monitor paid and unpaid leaves
  • Process overtime earnings or holiday deductions
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting systems, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
