Seeking a Tenure Track Associate/Full Professor with a broad range of experience to teach primarily in our graduate programs.Five years of teaching experience and an established record of research are preferred.The Capstone College of Nursing has over 2,300 students enrolled in programs leading to BSN , MSN , DNP , EdD and PhD degrees. At the MSN level, we offer concentrations for Nurse Administrators, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. We offer both post BSN and post MSN entry points in our DNP and PhD programs. Our Joint Nursing Science PhD Program with UAH provides opportunities for doctoral level teaching and dissertation advisement. Ad Text: A doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is required. A doctorate outside of nursing must hold a Masters degree in nursing. Additional requirements include licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama. Advanced practice experience and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred. This is a tenure earning position, which is not a distance-based position. Faculty are expected to be present on campus.
