Job Description

Description

  • Support New Product Introductions by delivering assigned process (Die/Optical Element attach) and equipment solutions meeting or exceeding Quality and timeline targets.
  • Cost savings targets be met through new supplier or new process introduction.
  • To contribute to effective resolution of chronic issues through innovative or out-of-box solutions.
  • To provide active support and technical inputs in team based problem solving efforts.(eg Focus Team, DMAIC team, project team).
  • To ensure self development to continually upgrading overall performance by maintaining organizational knowledge through design guideline, design rules, supplier capability, knowledge management system & actively participating in internal and external knowledge sharing (Technical symposium, trade shows, etc).
Requirement
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metallurgy/ Material Science), Physics or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related working experience in semiconductor industry with optical element, casting or dispensing process knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skill, systematic problem-solving approach skill, statistical knowledge, very careful and detailed-oriented personality.
  • Good report-writing and data analysis skills are required. An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Knowledge in Semiconductor Technology and LED Application knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in DOE and Statistic, Equipment, Cost and Budgeting, Quality Tools, Process Knowledge, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
