Job Description

Accounts Receivable

  • To issue sales invoice to debtors.
  • To follow up on debtor overdue payments.
  • To ensure sales are properly recorded and captured into accounting system.
  • To reconcile daily cash sales with daily bank in by outlets and to settle when dispute arises.
  • To reconcile daily credit card statements and merchant statements to ensure receipt are tally with POS system.
Accounts Payable
  • To request SOA from creditors to ensure all invoices, debit note & credit note has been taken up into the accounting system.
  • Liaise with suppliers/vendors for payment related matters.
  • Ensure payment to vendors are done promptly.
  • To process and verify staff claims on bi-weekly basis.
  • To ensure staff claims and petty cash claims are captured in the accounting system in a timely manner.
  • To issue journal voucher for stocks transfer, accrual, prepayment, salary, depreciation and etc.
Reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reporting, bank reconciliation, accounting schedule & monthly analysis on companys and inter-co performance under minimum supervision.
  • To prepare quarterly forecasting/budgeting/projection plan.
  • Facilitate and prepare the SST report and submission.
  • To handle the year-end report for audit and tax matters.
  • To liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and local regulatory bodies.
  • To liaise with the respective person-in-charge across departments to ensure financial data accuracy and facilitate reporting.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc assignments or duties assigned by superior when required.
Must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/ Higher/GraduateDiploma/Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance.General understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and financial processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office & SQL accounting software.Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented.Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.Capability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.[Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-ifv-group-sdn-bhd-job-finance-assistant]
