Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and inspections on generators, ensuring optimal performance and preventing unexpected failures.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within generator systems, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.Conduct load testing and analysis to verify generator capacity and efficiency under various operating conditions.Repair and replace faulty components, including alternators, starters, control panels, and wiring, to restore generator functionality.Install and commission new generator sets, adhering to electrical codes and manufacturer specifications for seamless integration.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accurate tracking and reporting.Respond to emergency calls and provide on-site support to resolve generator-related issues, minimizing downtime.Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient and coordinated generator system operations.Desired Candidate Profile. Five years work experience with hands on knowledge on gensets & control panels.. Basic knowledge of processors, protection relays, metering & cabling. Genset installation and testing knowledge is a must.. Should be able to work independently and communicate with customers /consultants etc. Driving license is prerequisite.. Multi lingual is an advantage.. Basic computer and documentation knowledge is desirable.
