Detailed Responsibilities:?Authorizes transactions, or recommends them for higher approval, in accordance with the authority delegated to him/her in writing by the Manager, Group Finance or the Chief Executive.?Ensures that all accounting details, calculations, documentation, vouchers, invoices, receipts, transfer notes, credits, debits and any other transaction or record, are recorded, stored or otherwise maintained efficiently and accurately.?Carries out all tasks, and trains subordinate staff, in accordance with the Finance Department Procedures Manual and generally accepted accounting practice.?Brings any accounting anomalies to the immediate attention of his/her immediate Supervisor or Manager.?Assists with the conduct of internal audit, stock taking or investigations in accordance with the Finance Manager?s instructions.?Operates manual and computerized accounting and other office systems, as required.?Produces daily, weekly, monthly and other special reports as required by company procedures.?Ensures that computer system back-up is carried out at least every 24 hours.?Carries out all tasks in accordance with approved company work, administration and disciplinary procedures.?Carries out all work instructions in accordance with the Quality Manual.?Participates in, assists and cooperates with Internal Quality Audits, including acting as Lead Auditor or Auditor.?Any other duties as required by the Finance Director.
