Hotel Manager

Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day management of staff and guests. He must be an ambassador of the brand and the hotel (Comfort and Serenity alongside the Imam), ensure the leadership and strategic planning of all departments in support of the hotels cultural service, maximize the operations and guest satisfaction and work closely with hotel owners and stakeholders. The General Manager is responsible for the management team and the overall objectives of the hotel in order to provide an excellent experience for the guests. He would also be required to manage profitability and customer satisfaction measures.Duties:

1. Submit the strategic planning proposal (quadruple analysis, strategic objectives, strategic plans, operational plans, etc.) to the owners.
2. Submit to owners the estimated annual operating budget proposal.
3. Issue a monthly financial income report with a comparison between forecasts and realities and submit it to the owners.
4. Issue a monthly expense report with a comparison between forecasts and realities and submit it to the owners.
5. Approve the annual operational plans of the departments.
6. Monitor daily hotel financial reports, occupancy rates and the extent to which desired annual goals are being met.
7. Supervise the work of the departments and intervene to evaluate the process in order to achieve the desired objectives when necessary.
8. Oversee the implementation of all approved administrative and financial controls, policies, procedures and service standards.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and fire regulations.
10. Supervise the work of departments and operations according to the organizational structure.
11. Make decisions that contribute to the improvement and development of the hotels working mechanisms and services.
12. Participate in the selection of managers of its departments.
13. Periodically evaluate the directors of its departments.
14. Hold short briefings and regular meetings with all department heads.
15. Oversee the quality of internal and external service operations to ensure five-star hotel standards are maintained.
16. Build relationships with financiers, apartment owners, government and religious figures.
17. Establish honorary programs for VIPs and government and religious figures.
18. Deal with all customer complaints and increase their level of satisfaction.
19. Assist the sales department in the promotion and sale of apartments.
20. Ensure the follow-up of the legal affairs of the hotel with the competent authorities.
21. Oversee purchase and maintenance contracts.
22. Participate in international conferences and trade fairs specializing in the hotel industry.

1. University degree in hotel management.
2. At least 15 years of experience in the hotel industry.
3. Has great administrative skills.
4. Experience of 5 to 10 years as General Manager.
5. Has the ability to analyze financial reports.
6. Proficiency in the use of computers and hotel information programs.
7. Fluency in the English language.
