VAC00226-Section Head- Radio Capacity ManagementNetwork & Services PlanningplaceMuscat, OmanShort descriptionPlan and Dimension Ooredoo Mobile and Fixed network that meet Business and Commercial requirements and fulfill licenses obligations. In addition, department responsible to ensure optimal use of capital expenditure investment, lowest operational cost, providing the highest quality network performance and delighted customer experience through up to date and smart solutions that are aligned with Ooredoo Group recommendations. The department also handling the Spectrum, Antenna, and RAN strategies setting and leading the initiatives of spectrum management with TRA. * Manage, motivate and coach the team and raise the competence of the team as well as enrich the team technical knowledge and soft skills to meet the functional requirements. * Develop processes and working methods to get maximum efficiency from the team. * Ensure all team members have in place a performance contract, are appraised and evaluated accurately and have a development plan to enable knowledge and capability development and to deliver high levels of performance. * support team in the personal development plans, and to engage the team with On-job, coaching, and formal trainings to meet the functional requirements of each individual. * Delegate effectively to the team to provide opportunity for growth. * Develop the competence of the team to be able to handle all the functional requirements of the section. * Ensure radio planning tools are utilized and efficiently used by the engineers. * Control and follow up the design tool activities. Evaluate tool requirements and enhancements. * Ensure the team is equipped with right tools for their functional requirements * Prepares for new phases by setting up new Phases requirements and clearing them with vendors. * Initiate and control the projects that will enhance the network efficiency and in line with company marketing vision. * Deals with the vendor/s through meetings and other process for BSS network specification, roll-out and new plans to insure that the designs are implemented as planned within agreed timelines. * Ensure solutions provided by vendors are latest on market and meeting Ooredoo Oman future requirements that align with spectrum and capacity strategies. * Planning and Organising * Analytical skills * Team Management * Communicating Effectively * Influence & Persuasion * Results Orientation * Problem Solving and Decision Making * A minimum 8 years of working experience including 7 years on radio network domain as technical with previous experience with established national or international operator/s or major manufacturer/s * Minimum 1/2 years managerial experience. * A strong understanding of mobile industry trends and services * Expert level knowledge of Radio planning, Technology advancements and related tools are required. Subject matter expert in Radio planning. Capable to control, advice, supervise and evaluate the performance of teams and projects. Analytical experience/skills are must. Multi-vendor experience preferred. * Proficient in MS Office skills * Fluent written and spoken English * Good written and spoken Arabic is desirable - Promotion Matrix- Relevance Years of experience
