Job Description

Senior Sales Executive - Exhibitions (6 Month -1 Year)To assist the Sales Manager of Exhibitions in generating profitable international, regional and local exhibition salesÿthrough the effective use of the Sales process and via activities. In addition to providing administrativeÿsupport to theSales Exhibition and obtaining set targets.Management and delivery of assigned exhibitions from concept to physical delivery according to the project brief targets(including agreed timelines and approved project budgets). Effective communication and financial management andproject record keeping,ranging from efficient meeting management and record keeping to the preparation of financialÿreports, technical and other documents such as jobs specifications, formal licenses and written agreements withÿexternal providers.Leading innovative and creative exhibition project development to reach larger and new audiences. Maintaining currentÿand appropriate professional knowledge and seeking external or other advice as may be necessary.

  • Drives business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Lead in-house exhibitions and coordinate directly with other departments Ensure all processes are followed and information proactively communicated.
  • Maintain and update the USB after sales visits, and trade shows and attend meetings when required.
  • Coordinate attendance at local, regional and international meetings, trade shows and conferences.
  • Coordinate and undertake local, regional and international exhibition research projects as directed.
  • Process and activate exhibitions inquiries.
  • Assist with client quotations, and general proposals and assist in Hiring Agreement documents.
  • Develop close relationships with organizers and potential clients locally, regionally and internationally.
  • Assist with and maintain documentation, promotional material and collateral for the Exhibitions Sales team.
  • Assist the Exhibitions manager with the production and collation of data for the monthly report, including market intelligence and any other tasks as and when required.
  • Leading and managing Exhibition projects assignments, including the timely and cost effective project contributions from, internal staff and external contract service providers, who do not directly report to this role.
  • Promote customer relations by displaying a positive attitude, identifying needs and meeting client expectations.
  • Ensure personal presentation, punctuality and reliability, which reflect the corporate imageÿ
  • Identify and resolve challenging situations as they arise both internally and externally.
  • Comply with all Government legislation and policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training as directed by the Director of Sales.
