Job Title Senior Engineer - Aircraft Maintenance.Base Maintenance Section Educational Qualifications Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license ICAO type II with 8 years of Aviation experience, out of which 4 years as certifying engineer in B1 Type Rating on two aircraft type with WY fleet AND/OR Third Party Aircraft Certification handled by Oman Air OR Degree / Diploma in Engineering preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical with 4 / 6 years of relevant experience respectively will be advantage. Skills/Knowledge - Proficient in English (Spoken & Written) - Proficient in MS Office - Self-initiated, self-motivated and well organized - Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving skills - Excellent time management skills - Good problem identification & troubleshooting skills - High level of professionalism, maturity and confidence Experience Required As mentioned in Educational Qualifications Job Location Muscat 1. Perform inspection and certify maintenance work carried out by him and by non-certifying staff allocated under him on Company?s or customer?s aircraft and airborne equipment to the standards required by the Airworthiness Authority and the Company. 2. Coordinate and support the respective Assistant Manager, Manager - Engineering Operations, in having an effective defect follow up, proper troubleshooting and timely rectification of ADD/MDD, Hold item are cleared in the stipulated time. 3. Maintain a controlled record of his certification and training requirements for uninterrupted maintenance certification at all times. 4. Assist in ensuring proper work documents are raised, controlled and cleared in accordance with approved procedures and methods prior to releasing aircraft for service 5. Carry out any other Aircraft maintenance task as and when directed by Asst Managers, Manager - Engineering Operations, Manager - Aircraft Maintenance and Senior Manager. 6. Available for one call support and to work on Overtime when required. 7. Assist and supplement to other sections, stations and fly along with aircraft as flying engineers to out stations as and when required. 8. Check to ensure that all tooling and equipment provided are serviceable and calibrated and are operated to the Company?s standards and report any unserviceability, to ensure corrective actions are taken. 9. Check to ensure that all work areas allocated, including aircraft Hangar are maintained in a safe and good housekeeping order. 10. Will report directly to the Manager - Engineering Operations, Manager - Aircraft Maintenance in respect of all Airworthiness matters connected with the ?Terms of Approval? as described in the Company exposition 11. Check to ensure that all manuals and publications available are up to date, treated with care and returned to their storage location. 12. Check to ensure that all staff working in the shift adheres to the HSE policies, rules and regulations and standards of the company and comply with regulatory authority requirements. 13. Assist in training and development of Omani National staff placed under his control.
