Quest Search & Selection have an exciting opportunity with an e-commerce and artificial intelligence company who is currently looking for a creative and hardworking accountant to join their dynamic team based in Oman. Your key role is to focus on identifying operational inefficiencies and working with cross-functional teams to build solutions.The responsibilities of the Accountant within this e-commerce business will include:Ensuring proper recording of revenue and costs by monitoring and reconciling transactions between various systems.Encoding all customers online transaction receiptsHandling Bookkeeping activities.Key member for month-end close, including balance sheet and G/L reconciliation, account analysis, and preparation of schedules.Implementing, managing, and maintaining ongoing accounting operations.Working with different cross-functional teams such as Marketing, HR, category etc.Performing ad hoc analyses and projects.Assisting in different audits such as financial, banking, sales and use.Business Advice and Reporting: Providing business advice based on deep financial analysis and reporting, to identify areas of opportunities to grow the business.Perform any other related tasks as may be required.Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Accountant)Bachelors Degree graduate in Accounting, Finance or related fieldCPA or CA certification is an advantageAt least 8-10 years of experience in Accounting and FinanceHighly proficient in Inventory Accounting, Costing Processes among othersPreferably with experience in e-Commerce companies or organizationHighly skilled in MS Excel, plus background in data-driven business operationsCan work in fast-paced environment and within set deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIf you feel you have what it takes to become part of this successful company, then please apply with an up-to-date CV.We request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
