Job Description

We are looking for a strong sales professional with extensive experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, to join our Sea Logistics team in Oman.Your Role The purpose of the role is to develop, using all of the tools available to you, seafreight business from new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by the Management. You are directly responsible for growing the Seafreight market share across all products (FCL, LCL) and contributing positively to the Gross Profit of the Seafreight product. Your Responsibilities

  • Development of Sea freight import, export & cross-trade business.
  • Key focus on new customer development (new logos).
  • Build relationship with network colleagues to support prepaid & collect traffic to Oman.
  • Ensure adherence to all Kuehne + Nagel Compliance, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health &
  • safety procedures and standards, at all times without exception.
  • Meet and exceed targets as predefined by the Management.
  • Contribute to KN Oman achieving annual Budget.
  • Provide continuous feedback on market rates and conditions to Trade teams.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the freight forwarding industry with a focus on sea logistics sales in Oman
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
