Job Purpose:Generate sales in the assigned portfolio in line with agreed targets. Handles all other related sales administration activities assignedKey Accountabilities:Works closely with Commercial Director in providing inputs for setting up sales targets based on past trends and forecastbusiness opportunities.Generates sales for the assigned portfolio of accounts in line with agreed annual sales targets by exploring opportunitieswith existing customers as well as identifying new customersGets in touch with potential customers, explains the company profile and capabilities, shows product samples and explains product specifications ensuring that customer has comprehensive information about the company and its productsUnderstand customer need in terms of prices and technical requirements, relays the information to Supervisor and makes recommendations for meeting the requirementsNegotiates with customers on prices and contractual terms, provides feedback to Supervisor on the sameSuggests pricing to be offered to customers ensuring that prices are competitive and feasible, justifies recommended prices to SupervisorWorks closely with the Sales administration team for preparing sales elated documentationCoordinates with Pre-Qualification team and Supply chain teamProvides support in collecting outstanding from customers through regular follow-up
