Job Description

To prepare, analyse, report and present Regulatory Financial Statements/Separated Regulatory Accounts and Product/Service/Rate Plan/BU wise Profitability Reports by developing and implementing Comprehensive Economic/Regulatory Cost Models using all three Methodologies including HCA, CCA and LRIC. To support regulatory finance decision making information impacting pricing, profitability and assist negotiations with regulator.

  • Prepare and analyze Regulatory Financial Statements (RFSs) including Profit and Loss Account and Return on Mean Capital by markets for regulatory submission
  • Prepare and report Reconciliation Statements with Statutory Accounts, Network Cost Reports, Transfer Charge Statements and supporting schedules
  • Prepare and update Regulatory Accounting documents including Detailed Attribution Methodology Document, Revaluation Methodology Document, and Detailed Accounting Separation Methodology Document etc.
  • Ensure maintenance and update to Transfer Charge model designed to produce DFSs.
  • Prepare the separated Regulatory accounts SRA using all methodologies HCA, CCA & LRIC.
  • Develop and maintain following Regulatory Costing/Economic models:
  • Fully allocated historic and current cost accounting (HCA/CCA) for Mobile and Fixed networks
  • Top Down Long Run Incremental Cost model for Mobile and Fixed networks
  • Ensure reconciliation of input data with management accounts and GL
  • Ensure reconciliation between all models for cost outputs and formulation of wholesale and retail services
  • Ensure implementation of new systems and tools to maintain Economic/Cost models
  • Create a reconciliation of all inputs to the costing model and highlight the focus areas to the team and drive the changes.
