Job Description

  • Implement patches to the target servers using available tools
  • Monitor Antivirus update distribution and resolve issues on out of date assets
  • Take part in CAB & TAB meetings to table change request
  • Follow defined guidelines around patch management
  • Liaise with other support functions of IT during patching window
  • Create and maintain reports for patch compliance and system audit data.
  • Provide recommendations for system automation.
  • Document issues and associated resolutions to problems.
  • Develop and test deployment packages across Windows, Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix Netscaler, MS Exchange and AD.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues.
  • Participate in technical on-call rotation.
  • Adherence to policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibility.
