Job Title Instructor Load Control Educational Qualifications A Bachelor?s Degree in related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR Two years college Diploma in related discipline preferably in Aviation with 4 years of relevant experience. OR IATA/ICAO professional certification from an aviation organization or any other recognized airlines with Secondary School certificate having 08years work experience in an airline or in a GHA in an international airport out of which 5 years should be in manual/ system Load control/ Ramp areas OR Customer Service. Skills/Knowledge ?Proficient in English (Spoken & written). ?Knowledge of Arabic or a foreign language will be advantage ?Proficient in MS Office ?Successful completion of courses in Airport Services in passenger, ramp or load control areas Must be holding valid load control licenses from recognized airlines or been delivering load control training ?Must be holding a certificate in Dangerous Goods Regulations- minimum in Cat 10 ?Minimum 3 years? experience as a Load control Instructor in a recognized airline/GHA ?Ability to conduct training in other aviation subjects will be an added advantage Experience Required As mentioned in the qualification area Job Location Oman,Muscat ?Ensure that designated responsibilities are executed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of Oman Air. ?Shall comply with laws, regulations and procedures of the State of work location. ?Be familiar with the laws, regulations and procedures pertinent to the performance of the duties. ?Be responsible for the GH training in all aspects of Ground handling in different areas of the airport including the System training. ?Set-up objectives, design/plan ground handling courses/modules in Load control ?Conduct the above courses/modules as per the requirement of the line departments ?Conduct tests, evaluate the participants in the above courses and forward the results to the line departments ?Issue certificates to the successful participants and if permitted, organize re-sits to those who have failed. Maintain records of the tests, results and the issue of certificates. ?Prepare all the training material and the presentations and the hand-outs. ?Refer to the manuals and other reference material such as memos/bulletins and update the training material in a regular interval. ?Attend refresher training and update oneself with the changes and new policies as per WY GOM,PSM, IATA AHM/IGOM, IATA/ICAO DGR and local Aviation Authority. ?Liaise with the Assistant Manager Training for the training calendar and its changes and training must be conducted on schedule. ?Update oneself with the new technologies involved and use them effectively. ?Follow new training methods. ?Assist line departments with expert advice and act as a consultant if requested and participate in projects undertaken by the Company. ?Provide coaching and mentoring assistance to the participants. ?Be a role model in the department especially with the beginners. ?Be prepared to face the auditors coming from airline, IOSA, ISAGO and other authorities from time to time. ?Work in line with the ISO requirements and help maintain the quality and standards ?Follow the rules issued by the Company with regard to Security, Safety and Environment. ?Assist Manager Training, Standards & Procedures to test, verify WY DCS and other GHA DCS ?Carry out any additional work as instructed by Manager Training, Standards & Procedure ?Attend regular internal discussion, meeting with other Senior Instructor - load control instructor for improvement and enhancing the training delivery ?Assist Assistant Manager Training Standards & Procedure in keeping the records up to date
