The Role:Provide support and guidance to any store, office to ensure they achieve the required compliance levels dictated by the company.Engage with internal /Eternal teams to ensure relevant parties are aware of their responsibilities regarding H&S within the location.Conduct asset protection & H&S and Fire Risk Assessments for all Stores, Offices and as dictated by the Annual Plan.Conduct store-based asset protection & fire, H&S Reviews as and when required.Conduct all risk assessments to a high standard and quality using company approved templates and documentation. Undertake accident and incident investigation when directed by line manager within any company location.Produce detailed accident investigation reports to a high standard within agreed timescales using company approved templates.Assist in the development of employee training modules.Deliver employee awareness training when required. Deliver employee training modules to a high standard.Conduct inspections of new premises, when directed to by line manager within agreed timescales.Apprehend/detain store thieves and liaise with local authorities.Report all incidents of customer/employee theft to the Asset Protection Supervisor (even those thefts deterred).Prevent/react to incidents of violence involving employee and customers.Monitor access to employee/store entrance and storage areas to prevent the risk of loss, reporting non-compliance to Asset Protection and Operations.Lead and assist with random employee searches in accordance with company procedures.Lead and conduct regular, random, unannounced till reconciliations and report exceptionsQualifications:At least 3 years experience in health & safety and/or civil protectionIOSH/NEBOSH certification or equivalent - M.A. in civil protection desirableKnowledge of fire and security systems, emergency evacuation procedures and alarmsA proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk
