Job descriptionCharterhouse is working with a high-end lounge and restaurant in Muscat who are looking to hire a Head Chef to oversee the kitchen and culinary direction. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and owners directly the Head Chef will execute the owners? vision for this premium venueAbout the roleThe Head Chef will support the development chef in designing and launching the menu, as well as continually evolving the menu moving forward. Using her culinary expertise, the Head Chef will create both appetizing and visually stunning dishes for the guests to enjoy. With a focus on sharing and small bites, presentation will be key. You will coordinate with baristas and mixologists to ensure the premium experience continues across all areas of food and beverage. The Head Chef will be responsible for maintaining the kitchen and inventory.About youThe successful candidate should be a currently working as a Head Chef or be an experienced Sous Chef ready to lead the kitchen. Experience with high end, aesthetically appealing and culturally diverse small plates and bites is preferred for this position. This role requires a Head Chef who thrives in a pressured environment and is willing to go above and beyond for the optimal guest experience.Due to the scope of the role only female candidates will be considered.Preference will be given to Arabic speaking candidates but all strong candidates will be considered
