Finance Business Partner - Muscat, OmanIntroductionArla MENA is the largest and most profitable Region within Arlas International Zone and comprise various JV models in big markets such as Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman, as well as growth drivers like Kuwait and Iraq, and a distributor sales model towards several other MENA markets. Oman has been on a strong growth trajectory and plans are in place to continue the strong growth in the coming years.Key responsibilities of the roleIn your role, you will take ownership of the Performance Management agenda and managing the full P&L for the Oman market, by acting as an advisor to the local GM, providing transparency, clarity and helping set financial direction for the market. Responsibilities include key areas like monthly closing, forecasting, performance reviews and presentations as well as identification and evaluation of business and financial opportunities. Additionally, you will take on a business partnering role towards both the local marketing and sales organization, being the key sparring partner for our sales and category teams when it comes to understanding customer and category performance, evaluating investments and embedding ROI frameworks and mindset. Overall, this is a very exciting and diverse role, taking on many different finance disciplines, and with a broad exposure towards both the Oman organization and the Management Team of the UOQ cluster.Your profileYou hold a Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Management Accounting and 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a commercial finance background and within performance management and/or as a finance partner. You have a strong commercial understanding and business acumen and a proven leadership record either formal or informal. To be successful, you must be independent and thrive in a position which calls for your strong financial competencies. You are result oriented and enjoy taking on challenges that invite you to cooperate in a multicultural global organization. You are an excellent communicator and understand how to turn financial analysis into insights, and use those to support decision making and make impact.
