1. Scope of ResponsibilitiesPreparing the drawings and necessary documents related to ?Design & Drafting? group as per theguidelines/instructions given by Senior designers/Lead designer and Engineers.2. Primary Duties? Preparing the drawings as per mark-ups/Vendor drawings (documents)/design calculations/instructionsgiven by Senior Designers and Engineers.? Preparing the TDR for the Project/Job/assigned area.? Carry out all drafting activities as per the Company/Client/Project specifications and PFI drafting norms.? Perform Lighting calculations for Indoor/Outdoor areas using Lighting software.? Consult Senior?s/Engineer?s to resolve the IDC comments in case of any critical interface is required.? Adopting the Guidelines and Standards illustrated in Cad Manual/Job Drafting basis for making thedrawings.? Preparing the ?As-built? drawings as per the site mark-ups/final Vendor drawings/latest availableinformation from Engineer.? Producing IDC documents, follow-up and resolving the conflicts / decisions with other disciplines.? Prepare and develop Installation standard drawings in line with project requirement.? Preparation of cable schedule, Cable drum schedule / cable cutting schedule.? Cable trench / tray loading details. Designing of trench / tray size considering future expansion andpermissible tolerance specified in project/Job/Client specification.? Keeping records and maintaining files of all the produced drawings/documents in ?Design & Draftingdepartment as per the Guidelines mentioned in Cad Manual/Drafting basis.3. Job/Cost ImpactDrafting of various types of drawings, sketches, calculations pertaining to job assigned.4. Decision Making AuthorityConsult Senior designer/Lead designer/Engineering team connected to job assigned.5. Supervisory ResponsibilityNone7. Most of the time spending in front of the computer work station.Occasionally incumbent may require to make site visits and visit vendor works.9. Minimum Job Requirement?? Diploma in Engineering or Certificate course with a minimum of 5 years of experience with EPCcontractor/Consultants/Design office. Exposure to Electrical engineering basics & knowledge.? For change of grade, minimum One year experience in Petrofac electrical design department isrequired.? For Omani nationals, the years of experience is as per Omani Market NormsAdditional Information
