Successful candidate is expected to: * Teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (M.Sc. and MBA) course, and supervise MSc Thesis. The normal load is 3-4 sections per semester (2 semesters per academic year).* Supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations.* Engage in scholarly research activities leading to publications in refereed index and ranked international journals.* Initiate research collaboration leading to successful research grants * Play an important role in research, curriculum development, graduate supervision and attracting research funding.* Produce scholarly work and lead department research output.* Engage in services for the university, professional and local communities.For more details refer to the Arabic version RequirementsApplicants applying for an Academic Faculty Members positions, must: * Be Omani with Oman nationality* Be of a good conduct* Possess an academic qualifications that meets the following: + Obtained through a regular education system. Degrees issued from an affiliation system, distance education, or blended education are not acceptable.+ Degree has been certified and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education if it was issued by a non-Omani higher education institution * Be well familiar with the supply chain management and information technology* Not apply for more than one job. Priority is given to those who have experience in university teaching and scientific research. Requirements for filling an Assistant Professor (or higher) position: * Obtaining a bachelors degree.* Obtaining a doctorate qualification or its equivalent from a higher education institution whose rating is not lower than that of Sultan Qaboos University, or among the top three higher education institutions in the Sultanate, based on the (QS) or (THE) classification of universities in the year of graduation.* Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken, and the fulfillment of the minimum English language requirement according to the following: + - (7.5) in the IELTS exam or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the major for which he is applying is English.- (6.5) in the IELTS exam, or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the specialization applied for is taught in English.- (5) In the IELTS exam or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the specialization applied for is taught in Arabic.- Exceptions are made from the provisions of this clause for positions in the specialization of Islamic education and the specialization of the Arabic language.For more details refer to the Arabic versionNote: Kindly submit your application in English.
