Job Description

Our Client is an international company involved in construction and project management for the healthcare sector:Based in Oman, job scope for the role :

  • Identification, compilation, analysis & reporting on claims received from clients, contractors, suppliers arising from delay, defective design & installation, unauthorised deviation, differing site conditions, productivity loss, labor shortage, force majeure, material shortage, bonding, warranties and insurance coverage
  • Dispute resolution
  • Negotiation of structured settlements
  • Monitor & report on contracts progress, proactively advise, in order to minimize claims and delays
  • Assist the Project Manager in the development of the contract strategies
  • Conducting performance reviews, evaluations and identifying areas of contractual non-compliance
  • Audit payment to Contractors
  • Performing other claims and contracts related tasks
Applicant requirements:
  • Bachelor?s degree qualifications in a related discipline
  • 8 to 10 years of claims & contract management experience in the construction sector within the GCC region, preferably with exposure to Oman, is a must
  • In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts are essential
  • Strong negotiation and dispute-resolution skills are a key for this role
  • Similar role within healthcare would be a distinct advantage
