Consulting (Managed and Outsourced Services) role for Muscat, Oman Location. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading global corporate institutions and advise them on their core finance processes within key areas such as:

• Outsourcing solutioning, transition and operations expertise in Finance & Managed Services along with deep strategy & advisory experience
• Solution design for different types of back office and outsourced services
• Designing transition and operating models for back-office operations, IT service management and other SG&A functions
• Shared Services/GBS setup and transformation experience
• Technology-Enabled Finance and back-office functions
• Finance Function Performance Assessment and Benchmarking
• Automation and digitization of back-office operations

Major duties and responsibilities

• Experience in current state assessment and Target Operating Model design for Finance and other back-office processes encompassing Record-to-Report, Planning Budgeting & Forecasting, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, management and statutory reporting etc.
• Experience of working in a global outsourcing pre-sales and solutions environment will be an added advantage / alternatively with Big 4 experience in consulting
• Proven track record of building client relationship, participating in client orals, responding to client RFPs and ideating solutions for CFO organization
• Experience working as a transformation lead on finance projects across the phases from assessment, and design through to implementation and benefits realization
• Industry experience in Outsourcing or Financial Services, GBS/Shared Services setup is preferred
• Experience in producing thoughtful leadership / white papers on the outsourcing and future of work collaboratively with minimal instructions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate the business challenges and explain proposed solutions
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with project teams
• Strong analytical / MS Excel, Power BI, Problem Solving skills and Presentation/ PowerPoint expertise
• Ability to analyse problems within back office / SG&A functions and convert it to a high-level solution design with technology and a business lens
• Understands the E2E Finance systems architecture and the purpose and use of each functional component in the Finance architecture
• Experience with managing/manipulating data either using Excel or more advanced tools like SQL/ Alteryx / Power BI
• Experience with data migration activities to one of the Finance systems (e.g. General Ledger, sub ledgers)
• Experience with the Vendor selection process from defining to the requirements, and drafting the RFP to assess and summarizing the outcome to the client

ProfileEducation requirements:Preferred:

• Master?s Degree in Business from a top tier college

Preferred:

• Professional qualifications such as: CPA / CA / ICWA / CMA / CIMA / ACCA etc.
• Along with 10 to 15 years of total work experience and 5+ years of relevant work experience in GBS/Shared Services (Preferably from Big 4 or other consulting / outsourcing firms)
