The hotels Palm Beach Club offers two floodlit tennis courts, a 25-metre olympic size pool, a leisure pool, a fully equipped fitness center, sauna, jacuzzi and easy access to the beach. Local sites of interest include the Grand Mosque, Opera House and Amouage Perfume Factory.? Effectively manages the Room Service by ensuring the following: ? Oversees the Implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual ? Adheres to opening and closing procedures ? Adheres to bill paying procedures ? Conducts effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on upselling certain products; etc ? Encourages and motivates staff to provide optimum service during all shifts ? Anticipates market changes and review operations when necessary ? Manages customer database and utilise effectively ? Upsells property facilities ? Actively pursues cost saving measures ? Recycle whenever possible ? Stock control? Preferably a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management ? Should have at least 3 years experience as an Assistant Room Service Manager and in 4-5 star hotel ? Should have excellent knowledge in all aspects of beverages including alcohol ? Should be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing). Arabic is an advantage ? Good knowledge of Microsoft Office ? Good knowledge of micros operating systems ? Good skills in customer service
