Skills/Knowledge * Good in English & Arabic (Spoken & Written)* Good in MS Office* IT Skills* Storekeeping Knowledge* Expiry Date checking of special items.* Email etiquette Experience Required As stated in JD Job Location Muscat - Oman To Control and oversee various warehouse operations for receiving, issuing items, keep track of stock control, and prepare reports to ensure all store operations are carried out on time within the limits, policies and procedures set by the company. - Supervise warehouse operations in order to ensure uninterrupted and timely operations according to the set guidelines- Monitor and oversee the issuing of items to all requesting user departments- Monitor stock control and ensure adequate stocking of all items- Check, verify and prepare Request form for procuring items and forward it to the Manager-Logistics & Warehouse for approval in order to procure the requested items- Prepare Issuing and Requisition Report and forward it to the Manager-Logistics & Warehouse to keep updated on the Stock Control levels- Maintains records of all the correspondence in respect of the data base in an organized manner which is easily accessible at any time.- Consult and keep Manager-Logistics & Warehouse informed of all sensitive and critical information.- Review the MIN-MAX and Consumption Report for each item of warehouse and input the historical consumption information in the consumption planning model.- Coordinate with designated staff from the user department to incorporate the forward operational planning information into the consumption planning model.- Taking special care to eliminate the exceptional items from historical consumption workings and incorporating exceptional items in the forward planning workings.- Coordinate with Procurement Officer(s) to ensure the lead time for the delivery is accurately given.- Constantly review the stock item master list to ensure that it is complete, accurate and up to date. - Report on a regular basis to Manager-Logistics & Warehouse and User Department on slow moving, obsolete items.- Agree an action plan for their disposal of scrapping as per Company Policies & procedures.- Coordinate with Inventory Controllers to ensure the data entry is complete i.e. there is no GRN * outstanding before generating the monthly reports. Ensure that the warehouse is maintained in the most organized, safe & secured way: regularly check the safety & security measures & equipment?s, ensuring that the staff is aware of the safety & security - measures, they have knowledge of the use of these equipment?s and that they can identify dangerous and hazardous items.- Coordinate with the respective procurement section to get the details on orders in transit to prevent double ordering.- Monitor the Consumption to ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained at all the times.- Interact with the users on a regular basis to pre-empt their requirements. Advise users of any likely delays in the deliveries.- Generate the Consumption Report with the approval of Manager-Logistics & Warehouse- Maintain detailed records on rejections, complains and delays in deliveries from suppliers. Pass the information in a prescribed reporting format to Manager-Logistics & Warehouse.- Constantly review the optimum quantities with the consumption model looking out for any exceptions and delays in supplier deliveries or any other matter.- Adhere to the Company?s health, safety, environmental and security policies at all times and immediately report violations of these policies to Oman Air?s health, safety & environment representatives;- Adhere to & support ISO processes, certification renewal & ensure areas of responsibility are in constant compliance;
