Roles & ResponsibilitiesRole OverviewThe Accountant ? Receivables is responsible for managing the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable for personal leasing customers, ensuring collections are achieved against agreed payment terms, customer accounts remain healthy and up to date, and all related processes comply with company policy.Key ResponsibilitiesCollections ManagementEnsure timely collection from all customers handled, in line with agreed payment termsEnsure collections are accurately reflected and calculated across aging categories for incentive and performance evaluation purposesMonitor and drive achievement of monthly collection targets as assigned by the Line ManagerCustomer Relationship & CommunicationMaintain healthy, transparent, and open communication channels with customersLiaise effectively with internal departments to resolve customer account queries and disputesProcess & Accounts HygieneKeep all customer account reconciliations accurate and up to dateIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement or automation in existing collection/reconciliation workflowsComplianceEnsure all AR-related processes are carried out in full compliance with company Policies & ProceduresDesired Candidate ProfileSkills And QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2?3 years of experience in accounts receivable / collections, preferably within automotive rental, leasing, or a similar customer-facing finance roleStrong understanding of aging analysis, reconciliation, and collections processesExcellent communication and relationship management skillsProficiency in accounting systems (e.g., JD Edwards/JDE) and MS ExcelHigh attention to detail and accuracy.
