Site Name: Morocco - Casablanca Posted Date: Dec 14 2022 Job Purpose Reporting to the Country Medical Director, Morocco, this new role will be fully aligned to deliver activities and provide vaccines therapeutic medical leadership for the Morocco LOC. Key Responsibilities: By being the expert of medical & clinical aspects for GSK Vaccines to lead the development and execution of Vaccines Medical strategies, to demonstrate leadership and accountability for all scientific / external high quality engagement activities with external stakeholders (Key External Experts, MOH, Patient Associations, HTA bodies) in the assigned countries, and to ensure these are in line with GSK standards and values. Provide Medical support and strategic input for GSK Vaccines sales, marketing, regulatory, PV and Clinical Operations activities. Likewise, provide input and guidance into local reimbursement, submissions and publications processes. To provide support and input into the governance oversight of GSK evidence generation activities, such as but not limited to, GSK sponsored and Collaborative Studies & Observational studies, Health Economics & Outcomes research for local market access purposes, including development and timely submission of Value dossiers to respective National Formulary and Reimbursement bodies, in partnership with LOC and above country team in accordance with GCP guidelines & company relevant SOP?s. To assist LOC CMD and MGM with monitoring changes in Country legislation concerning market authorization, clinical research, PV, reimbursement and medical insurance systems relevant to vaccines. Where relevant for LOC and where there is a business need, in addition to globally available resources, to lead on implementation a full medical/scientific library (print & electronic) & continually update it, establish a database of product profiles/information, produce company?s (and competitor) publication database and compile expert patient brochures. Ensure that medical insights contribute effectively to the development, registration and launch of new vaccines, design and execution of evidence generation activities, and appropriate communication of scientific evidence in the LOC, ensuring at all times that the patients? interests remain at the forefront of all conducted activities. To communicate GSK?s commitment to high standards of legal and ethical conduct via Medical engagements with key external experts, investigators, academia, government officials, media and other stakeholders under the respective governance frameworks, in order to develop, maintain, and enhance our reputation and trust with external stakeholders. Through relevant medical activities (e.g. non-promotional medical education, scientific workshops) to engage with the EEs into scientific dialogue and debate and to communicate scientific information to HCPs that both informs and builds confidence in the appropriate use of GSK Vaccines. Basic Qualifications: Education and Experience: Medical Degree -Post Graduate qualification in Epidemiology / HTA / Public Health Minimum 3 years? industry experience in a medical function with Leadership experience Good understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) to conduct clinical trials, drug development processes and key operational interfaces Expert Therapy Area / Vaccines knowledge in key therapy areas where GSK and competitors are present Familiarity of healthcare and legislative environment within Morocco Health Technology Assessment (HTA) certificate preferred Excellent communication skills with high ability to convey information Proven ability to influence and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders Ability to work under pressure in cross-project heavily matrixed environment Ability to work independently and take decisions with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of Medical Governance, Pharmacovigilance, regulatory and business requirements Effective teamwork and network skills Multitasking, prioritisation and project management skills If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: GSK Expectations and Behavioral Courage Persuades Accountability -Development Situational Adaptability Decision Quality Teamwork Plans and Aligns Why GSK?
