Follows established procedures and guidelines to ensure the flow ofcargo according to production specifications and schedules, volume,cost and quality standards.Performs various clerical and administrative duties related to theloading, discharging and registration of containers at variousoperations locations in accordance with the planning schedules.Anticipates discrepancies that may arise.Controls flow of loaded and/or vehicles during loading and/ordischarging to maintain continuous operationsAdvises of any discrepancies or any shortage of vehicles or delays tocontainer arriving.Checks and updates yard locations and inventory and if necessaryundertakes yard searches for missing or misplaced containers.
