• As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedure
• Strategic participationin the definition ofscalable, self-healing, autonomous platform solutions
• Provide leadership andexpertisein the development ofnew products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
• Define how to use latest technologies toidentifyand optimize the operational efficiency for architecture supporting Oracle Health Sciences Cloud Service Offerings
• Perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
• Drive a customer-first culture that keeps the customer at the forefront ofdecision making
• Lead a holistic and integrated approach to providing data integrity, information confidentiality, and service availability
• Define andmonitorperformance indicators

Ideal Experience

• BS or MS in Computer Science, orequivalentwork experience
• 7+ years in-depth knowledge of OOPS/Core Java and J2EE development
• Experience inREST APIs and JavaScriptbased UI development
• Knowledge ofmicroservices-based, Cloud Nativeapplication development from design to deployment using CI/CD Pipeline
• Good knowledge and experience in architecture and designing of complex systems
• In-depth knowledge in Cloud technologies and would have designed/architected solutions to deploy products in Cloud
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure technologies likeAWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Solid understanding of effective cloud computing principles
• Experience designing solutions with security and high performing applications in Cloud
• Experience in architecture, engineering, deployment, and operational management of best-in-class cloud service offerings
• Experience in developing Secured Enterprise applications (IDCS,SSO,Oauth2,SAML, Spring security, etc.)
• Worked on server-side performance/monitoring (App-D, EM, Prometheus andGrafana) and Logging (ELK) measurements and tuning
• Strong technical acumen; creativity; interpersonal skills; emotional intelligence
• Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, disaster recovery, High Availability, information management, big data, Java applications, Oracle and non-Oracle applications
• Knowledge of common web application frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in bringing applications to Cloud

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.As part of Oracles employment process candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process.
