Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:?Provide end-user support services, including but not limited to Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers and mobile phones?Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incidents, and implement change for local IT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including, but not limited to datacentre racks, cabling, network and server equipment.?Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incident, and implement change for local OT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including but not limited to CCTV/OCR equipment, biometric readers, radio equipment and VMTs?Support the regional IT service delivery team when they require hands-on onsite IT/OT support for incident and change management?Install and replace end user and IT/OT infrastructure hardware devices?Resolve incidents within agreed service levels?Participate in regional CABQualifications:

  • Minimum Bac +3 in Network and Systems
  • CCNA certification Mandatory, (CCNP, MCSE, ITIL any preferred)
Experience:
  • Requires at least
  • 3 years (larger/automated/more complex) of computer network administration or IT communications experience, in a medium to large organization.
Skills:
  • Must have thorough understanding of LAN/WAN and server architecture for installation, administration, and on-going maintenance.
  • Relevant experience with Cisco Wireless Technologies
  • Must have a thorough understanding of applied networks technologies including: protocols, RF, optical ring topology, fiber connections and types etc.
  • Must have a thorough understanding, Voice telephony and related infrastructure.
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge of IT-related hardware and software systems.
  • Requires demonstrated ability and knowledge to troubleshoot a wide variety of infrastructure network and communication problems as they arise in the workplace.
  • Must be familiar with various Operating Systems and Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be multi-task oriented with proven ability to execute several activities simultaneously.
  • Must have good analytical skills to be able to relate and analyse the business requirements and configure the infrastructure to meet the business needs.
  • Understanding of Port Equipment, Automated systems and controls and related industrial infrastructures architecture could be an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to work under cross functional teams having high levels of collaboration
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain technical and process documentation for both project implementation phase and post implementation operations.
Languages Known:
  • Speak/Write/Understand English on working and communication level is a must.
  • Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
