The Underwriting Officer will be responsible for:Underwriting of all Individual / Group Life / Credit applications submitted according to his/her authority limits.Applying with high accuracy the standards of Medical, Occupational, Financial, Pastimes and residential Underwriting guidelinesUpdating the designated systems with all the needed requirements to proceed with applications assessment upon their requesting and receiving either administrative or technical requirementsForwarding cases above his/her authority limits to the higher authority for authorizationFollowing the priority path for individual applications submittedMaking sure the right Underwriting decision is applied in accordance with his/her authority, higher authoritiesUpdating the system with the final Underwriting decision requirementsLogging / updating all cases assessedReviewing incomplete files for further underwriting re-assessmentBeing aware of the department?s procedures and using its instructions to match the quality standards
