Leading the shift team members in executing all the shift activities as directed by the plant manager with compliance to the safety regulations in order to ensure safe and smooth operation of the plant as well as individual equipment.
Contacting other departments for coordination in case of any emergency, instability or load changes.
Raising work orders and work permits for the service departments to follow the on site jobs safely.
Insuring production optimization and low consumption of utilities to maintain high plant efficiency.
Taking the necessary on-site decisions required to ensure the individual working personnel safety, equipment failure prevention and plant safe operation.
Carrying out safe and smooth shutdown and start up of the plant as per requirement.
Sharing in the planning of the routine shutdown jobs, exceptional maintenance jobs, hot work jobs and confined space entry jobs.
Helping in overcoming bottle necks and constrains in order to increase the plant on specifications production.
