? Assist QC inspector to carry out receipt inspection and operational checks on vehicle & equipment reporting for repairs to prepare the defects list. ? Carry out troubleshooting for complex problems with the help of manuals, schematics and supervisory guidance.? Guide junior staff in diagnosis and repairs when assigned? Carry out failure investigation and assist in preparation of reports when necessary with the guidance of supervisor and site visit reports independently.? Assess the repairs and report the same to the workshop supervisor for estimation.? Prepare detailed part lists for repairs with supervisory help using parts catalogs (including electronic catalogs)? Carry out repairs and rectification work on all mechanical systems including major unit and system overhauls using the appropriate special tools and equipment.? Perform Simple Equipment installations as per manufacturer guidelines under full supervisory guidance.? Inspect and measure the various mechanical system components for serviceability during the various repairs and overhauls and report to the workshop supervisor.? Recondition by repair and rebuilding the various serviceable components to the manufacturers specifications for mechanical systems on equipment.? Attend site service calls when assigned and to ensure customer satisfaction by timely troubleshooting, rectification and restoration of machine operations.? Maintain customer relations during such visits to solicit additional business and present a professional image of the company.? Ensure that work carried out achieves the set efficiency and performance targets and is to the highest quality and standards? Ensure job safety to achieve set safety targets and use protective equipment provided. ? Ensure the security of staff, company?s and customers? property while carrying out assigned jobs ? Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the premises and proper utilization of tools and consumables ? Undertake any other duties as assigned by Superiors, as required
