Hold all the responsibilities of the design manager on his/her project. Leads an architectural design team with all the responsibilities of scheduling, organizing, coordinating and executing the design work of his/her projects to best qualities. Architectural Design. Design Coordination. Interface with Statutory Authorities. Client Interface. Mentoring and supervision of reporting architects. Site back-up. Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Architects and Technicians on a day to day basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout. Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team. Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor?s queries, etc. Act as the client?s point of contact for design related issues. Act as the project?s design coordinator and the design manager of the project. Responsible for the architectural resource planning for the project and report project needs to the associate manager. Conduct Performance evaluation reviews to all his reporting team members. Carry-out independent design reviews for all types of projects. Take responsibility for coaching of all reporting Architects and CAD Technicians in his team. Take initiatives to develop design manuals, standard design documents, presentations, etc. to increase efficiencies, knowledge and awareness across the wider architectural community
