Interested candidates can send me your updated CV to shajan (at) minds-united dot comPosition Title: Harbor ManagerPosition reports to: General ManagerPurpose of position:Efficiently and effectively manage our clients Jetty to meet the requirements of customers & statutory bodies. Responsible also for the piloting of Ships. Key responsibilities :? Ensures safe and efficient overall management of the Jetty in compliance with all appropriate legislation pertaining to port operations ? Manages Jetty team and ensures deliverables are met.? Responsible for compliance with legislation relating to the Jetty as a competent Jetty authority.? Responsible for inspection and maintenance of quays, property, roadways and equipment.? Ensure that all aids to navigation are maintained in good condition and are regularly monitored. Ensure that reports availability are submitted to Authorities as required.? Promote and implement a strong safety culture for all Jetty operations and ensure that staff are properly equipped with P.P.E. and safety equipment as required and are fully briefed on safety requirements.? Responsible for the preparation of records and reports of all Jetty activities to Management and any authorities.? Responsible for the development of procedures and policies in relation to the Jetty.? Responsible for Security of the Jetty and make sure no illegal activities are carried out.? Maintain knowledge of industry terminal regulations and ensure that procedures are performed in accord with them? Make sure Docking and Undocking activities are carried out as per procedures.? Responsible for proper storage of offloaded/Stored items.? Making sure all equipment?s and licenses are updated/renewed/calibrated on time.? Ensure all certifications are maintained/updated/renewed.? Ensure jetty operations carry out in accordance with a safe system of work.? Job Specification:Qualification/Experience: ? Graduate/ Diploma with 5-8 years of experience in Jetty/Port management.Skills: ? In-depth understanding of Jetty/ Port Operations.Our clients Jetty is a small jetty intended for offloading & Loading from Barge and Storage of materials. ? Proficiency in MS Office Applications and other desktop utilities ? Excellent communication skills in English language (oral and written). , Arabic language is a advantage.
