As a PMS Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our hotels Property Management System. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation and utilization of the PMS software to enhance guest service and overall hotel efficiency.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain the Property Management System (PMS) software in the hotel.Collaborate with the IT department to integrate the PMS with other hotel systems, such as reservations, front desk, housekeeping, and accounting.Provide training and support to hotel staff on PMS functionality, including front desk operations, reservations management, guest profiles, billing, and reporting.Monitor the PMS system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot any software or hardware problems.Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity within the PMS.Coordinate with software vendors and technical support teams to resolve system-related issues and implement software updates or patches.Maintain user access and security settings within the PMS, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and industry standards.Generate reports and analyze data from the PMS to provide insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PMS technology, attending training sessions and conferences as required.Assist in the evaluation and selection of new PMS software or upgrades, considering the hotels operational needs and budget.Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for system enhancements or customizations to meet specific hotel requirements.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the confidentiality of guest information stored in the PMS.1700 SR + food + accommodation + transportation
