Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python development to join our Fintech project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Python applications that support our innovative fintech project.Technical/Functional Expertise (Primary): Python, Micro-services, Security & Data Protection, Performance Optimisation, Code Review, Cloud Computing BasicsTechnical/Functional Expertise (Secondary): CI/CD Pipelines, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API Design and Development, GITResponsibilities and Duties:- Proficient in Python with a firm grasp on its ecosystems.- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications in line with business requirements.- Identify and rectify bottlenecks and bugs, formulating solutions to mitigate these problems.- Debug code, perform thorough code reviews, and troubleshoot complex problems using your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ensure the implementation of security and data protection measures.- Integrate data storage solutions, with experience in both relational and non-relational databases.- Develop and maintain microservices-oriented web applications.- Knowledge of cloud computing deployments- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into operations and activities where suitable.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and translate these into practical designs.- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.- Validate software functionality and security.- Participate actively in team meetings and provide recommendations to improve software development processes.Qualifications:- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development with Python.- Proven experience in software development methodologies.- Familiarity with fintech, crypto, banking, or telecommunication products would be advantageous.- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Professional certifications related to Python or Software Development are preferred
