We are partners, and resellers and offer services in each.PrimaryÿResponsibilities:

• ClusterScalingReplication maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes
• Work with operations to deploy REDIS updates, patches and version upgrades when required
• Performing the following operational tasks:
  • Capacity planning: Aligning with the systems engineering team to propose and deploy new hardware and software environments required to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Back-up/recovery processes
  • Run maintenance tasks (e.g. upgrades)
  • Applying security patches
  • Monitoring performance of services
  • Build tools, services, frameworks and interfaces to enable development teams to monitor, manage and operate code in production.
• Define best practices for how to best consume Data services technology
• Willingness to investigate and troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to improve system performance
• Provide tier N support for our development teams on supported technologies
• Provide tier N support for our customer support teams on supported technologies

• Minimum 5 years database administration, support, analysis or related experience
• 4-6 years of experience in In-memory data structure store administration with an emphasis on REDIS
• Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux
• Operational and administration experience with one of more technologies in a Cloud/SaaS environment is a plus:
  • NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, REDIS
  • Relational databases such as MariaDB (MySQL)
  • Message queues such as RabbitMQ
  • Search and analytics engines such as Elasticsearch
• Experience performing system administration tasks on Linux and shell scripting
• Experience creating Continuous Integration pipelines (e.g. Team city, Concourse, Jenkins)
• Strong development/scripting skills using Chef, Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript with the ability to pick up any language quickly.
• Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications
• Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) applications (e.g. Cloud Foundry, Heroku, etc)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) applications (e.g. OpenStack, vSphere, Amazon Web Services, etc)
• Experience working with application development teams using a Micro Services / CQRS architecture preferred
