Our service streams thousands of blockbuster Hollywood movies, TV shows, documentaries, kids? entertainment and dedicated Arabic content to subscribers in the region. This is what makes us the fastest-growing SVOD service in the region.˙We seek a talented Python Developer with expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid educational background and hands-on experience in Python development and data integration. In this role, you will be vital in designing and implementing ETL pipelines to support our data-driven initiatives.Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain Python-based ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it as needed, and load it into data warehouses or other storage solutions.
  3. Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  5. Work closely with data engineers to design and implement data models and schemas.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes and data pipelines.
  7. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging Python and ETL development technologies.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Minimum requirement).
  2. Proven experience (1 year) as a Python developer with a strong understanding of Python libraries and frameworks.
  3. Experience with ETL tools and methodologies, such as Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, or custom Python-based ETL scripting.
  4. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  5. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and database management systems.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  8. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
