Job Overview:We are looking for a Senior Python Developer at the Architect level to join our Fintech project team. This position will play a vital role in the design and development of high-performing, secure, and scalable applications, driving the overall success of our innovative project.Technical/Functional Expertise (Primary): Python, Architecture Design, Microservices, Data Modelling, Security, Cloud ComputingTechnical/Functional Expertise (Secondary): CI/CD Pipelines, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API Design and DevelopmentResponsibilities and Duties:- Proficiency in Python with a strong understanding of its ecosystems.- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications that align with user needs and business goals.- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.- Debug code, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot problems leveraging advanced analytical problem-solving skills.- Implementation of security and data protection measures, ensuring the highest level of integrity and safety for our applications.- Integration of data storage solutions, including experience with both relational and non-relational databases.- Development and maintenance of microservices-oriented web applications.- Familiarity with cloud computing deployments, including but not limited to services like AWS- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.- Impeccable attention to detail and strong ability to communicate complex technical requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and solve problems effectively, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.- Demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to take ownership of project deliverables, promoting a culture of accountability within the team.- Experience working in an Agile development environment, with knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile methodologies.Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development with Python.- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team lead role, preferably in fintech or similar industries.- Proven experience with fintech, crypto, banking, or telecommunication products would be a plus.- Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, security, and fraud protection measures.- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Professional certifications related to Python or Software Architecture are an advantage.
