Job Description

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Define the vision, mission, and long-term strategy for the Data Science team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align data science initiatives with business goals.
  • Champion innovation, research, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and analysts.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Project Execution:
  • Oversee end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, and Business) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Technical Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the team.
  • Review and enhance data pipelines, models, and algorithms.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, executives, and external partners.
RequirementsEducation:
  • Master?s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics.
  • Proven track record of leading successful data science teams.
  • Strong expertise in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and business acumen.
