Job Description

As a Data Scientist at The Entertainers, you will convert data into insights. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering and Business Development teams to define requirements and design solutions. You?ll proactively analyze data to identify interesting patterns and help product and engineering teams identify opportunities to improve our apps and services based on observations of production data.Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery process with Product and business development teams to identify business requirements and problems.
  • Explore and analyze productions data to extract various insights, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Build high-quality data and feature engineering pipelines.
  • Develop and tune innovative, new ML solutions based on a deep understanding of our operational use cases and state-of-the-art ML methods.
  • Identify strategies for improving The Entertainers platform, and write, debug, and deploy production-grade Python code to implement those strategies.
Qualifications
  • Computer science, data science, or related technical background and education.
  • 3+ years of industry experience working as a data scientist.
  • Strong SQL and Python scripting skills.
  • Experience working with big data processing platforms such as Apache Spark.
  • Hands on skills on industry-standard Data Science and ML/DL libraries or tools such as Jupyter, pandas, NumPy, sklearn, Keras.
  • Experience writing production-grade Python code to implement and evaluate ML models in production systems.
  • Experience using messy data to solve hard challenges.
  • A track record as a good communicator and a collaborative, driven team player.
Bonus if you have:
  • Master?s degree in data science
  • Experience with artificial intelligence and deep learning
  • Experience using PySpark/Databricks.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services
  • Experience working with MongoDB, Parquet, git, Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge about with MLFlow, MLOps, web Scraping and APIs
