Grade Level: ConsultantLocation: LahoreLast date to apply: 18th October 2022What is Consultant Commercial Power Billing?Consultant Commercial Power Billing is responsible to handle electricity billing issues with Division/Sub-Division of DISCOs.The role reports directly to the Regional Manager Logistics Operations with an extended team of 11 team membersWhat does Consultant Commercial Power Billing do?

  • To ensure proper and timely billing of electric connections
  • To check the bills and ensure component wise authenticity of generated bills
  • To check and ensure recording of correct KWH, KVARH & MDI segments on bill and meters
  • To ensure all the faulty meters are replaced well in time.
  • To get bill adjustments/rebates from the concerned DISCOs where overbilling is observed
  • To monitor monthly Power factor on bill to avoid levy of power factor penalty on bills
  • To monitor charging of taxes and levies on bills as per tariff schedule and FBR orders.
  • To monitor maximum demanding indicator (MDI) recorded and billed with comparison of sanction load
  • To support field operation teams for resolution of commercial power related issues.
  • To ensure timely payment of bill to avoid levy of Late Payment Surcharges
  • To arrange extension of due date of bills where necessary
  • To manage exemption of LPS in case of non-payment of bills on genuine grounds
  • Any other instants and emergency handling
  • Independent transformer base new connection handling on division/sub Division level of DISCOs
  • Challenge the detection bills against wrong audit imposed us from DISCO
