    • Job Requirements and Skills:
    • To plan and undertake sales and promotional activity, focusing on securing conference and event business to meet budgetary and other targets. The key focus is to build robust customer
    • relationships with stakeholders and provides excellent customer service and expertsupport for planned events. The role will also develop relationships with external organizations to secure larger events andconferences.
      1. To develop an annual sales and marketing plan to maximize revenue/profit and meet budgeted targets
      2. Promote the brand in different conference & events facilities to existing and new customers through face-to-face meetings and presentations, visits and telephone calls, includingshow rounds and attendance at key industry events.
      3. Undertake in-depth account management to develop strong customer relationships and carry out all dutieswith high levels of customer care ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
      4. To research, identify and convert new conference and events clients and agents.
      5. To monitor and report on the local and national market and competitors.
      6. To establish and manage sales systems ensuring details of all client enquiries, profiles, their requirementsand interests, and relevant sales activity are kept up to date.
      7. To achieve agreed sales KPIs, as set by the company.
      8. To assist the event and conference operations team in the delivery of conference and event activity, where additional support is needed.
      9. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the position and grade.
