Our team of over 400 engineers and developers are empowered to develop cutting-edge technology every day.Careem was established in July 2012, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uber Technologies, Inc. in January 2020, and today operates in over 100 cities across 12 countries.About the Team:Careem Ride Hailing Strategy & Planning is a key group supporting our Super App ambition,and continues to scale and grow exponentially across markets.The Data & Analytics Manager will report into the Ride Analytics head within RH, while part ofStrategy & Planning, the candidate will work closely with cross functional teams andgeographies.What you will do:The Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for supporting the analytics arm of the RideHail group, with a focus on automation that brings efficiencies to new / existing processesacross all regions Careem operates in. Additionally also lead in the creation of performancedriven insights, that support stakeholders across the group, and presenting findings.Key responsibilities include:

• Support with creating key business metrics and analyses that powers business decisions
• Translate data into insights in clear, concise and actionable presentations/reports toguide business decision
• Optimize & automate queries that feed into dashboards and reports to bring efficienciesinto day-to-day analytics requests
• Create new data platforms where needed to unlock new types of insights
• Design and structure data from source tables to rollup into data warehouses that can beconsumed easily to answer key business questions and problem statements.

What you will need:The team is looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional who is excited about supportingthe creation of a self-serve styled platform that supports Ride Hailing division to create amazinginsights, With the main focus on structuring the data, building processes, along with strongautomation background to pull it all together.understanding the business context and nuances, translating business asks to analyticsrequests, lead the analysis and derive business insights.The ideal candidate would be someone who:

• Has 3-4 years of work experience in analytics roles in a high-growth tech startup orsimilar data-heavy, product environments
• Is able to structure / source data into data warehouse, and automate processes that support business
• Is able to translate and communicate data into simple conclusions and business actions
• Is excited to get their hands dirty and conduct analyses themselves when needed

Tech skills needed:

• Proficient in Tableau and SQL (with 2-3 yr professional experience)
• Conversant in Sheets/Slides (MS/Google environments)
• Experience with Python or similar data programing language
