• Create awareness and understanding of the Group?s business strategy and model appropriate to the relevant unit and socialize with your teams. 2. Keep yourself updated with the Regulatory and Group policies. 3. Set internal standards and procedures for the bank in line with development of International Trade.

BAU Activities:

• Ensure to process transactions received on daily basis
• Efficiently checking and inputting all required data involved in trade transactions
• EOD daily recon.
• Ensure required reports are extracted properly
• All task and assignments assigned by TL?s to be performed.
• Ensure that the set productivity targets (efficiency, accuracy, etc.) and processing turnaround standards are achieved (within own area of responsibility).
• Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/ Group.

Reporting all suspicious transactions including transactions having Red-Flag alerts to AML approvers.Business*

• Responsible to keep abreast with the existing and potential customers and their businesses.
• Responsible to keep close and cordial relationship with Internal Units in order to facilitate solutions to customer?s inquiries / problems and / or tailoring required for any specific customer request.

Processes*

• Manage and administer the daily operations of the team with the aim to maximize the productivity of the team and ensure that efficient and high quality services are provided to our valued customers using a range of products and services and in further enhance to achieve maximum profitability for the bank.
• Supervise day to day processing and delivery of trade services relevant to the assigned team with agreed service standard

• Review existing practices and identify gaps for improvement in terms of accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure departmental DOIs are updated with requisite processes and procedures as per required standards
• Ensure Error Logs for the unit is maintained with the unit and socialized with the team and Head of Trade Ops
• Assist Unit Manager, Trade in migrating trade practices and quality standards to and from other SCB branches
• Ensure related approvals are in place for all trade transactions before authorizing the transactions in the system.
• Ensure timely reporting to the Group / Regulatory Authorities

• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

Risk Management*

• Primary person responsible for identifying, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risk in existing process.
• Responsible to develop required controls in the process to zeroise Operational Losses and to ensure all regulatory and risk aspects are covered in the existing practice. He is also responsible to ensure execution of controls by reviewing Operational Risk Framework

Governance *

• Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group?s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Responsible for delivering ?effective governance?; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
