Job Description

As an Admission Officer at The Migration, you will play acrucial role in managing the application process for students seeking to studyin Australia. Your responsibilities will include lodging applications,coordinating with education providers, following up on offer letters andConfirmation of Enrollments (COEs), and ensuring all necessary documentationand payments are collected. Additionally, you will support the Sydney team ofcounselors and manage tasks related to accounts and fee payments.Key Responsibilities:?

  1. Application Lodgement:
  • Submit applications to Australian education providers on behalf of students.
  • Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate before submission.
  • Monitor application statuses and provide updates to students and counsellors.
Follow-Up with Colleges:
  • Communicate with partner colleges and universities to expedite offer letters and COEs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with education providers to ensure smooth processing of applications.
  • Address any issues or delays in the application process promptly.
Cold Calling:
  • Conduct outreach to potential students and educational institutions.
  • Promote the services and educational opportunities offered by The Migration.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor during all interactions.
Coordination for Document Collection:
  • Work closely with clients to collect all necessary documents for application submissions.
  • Ensure documents are correctly formatted and meet the requirements of education providers.
  • Follow up with clients to obtain any missing or additional documentation.
Payment Collection:
  • Coordinate with clients for the collection of fees related to applications and enrollments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Maintain records of all financial transactions related to student applications.
Task Assignment and Reconciliation:
  • Assign tasks related to fee payments and reconciliations to the accounts team.
  • Ensure all payments are correctly recorded and reconciled with the appropriate accounts.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues related to fee payments.
Assisting Counsellors:
  • Provide support to all counsellors in the Sydney team with application-related tasks.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or queries related to student applications.
  • Ensure that counsellors have the necessary information and resources to support their clients.
?Requirements
  • A degree in education, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or educational consultancy is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using application management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • This position will be office-based.
  • Candidate must be able to work during following hours 6:30 am to 2:30pm
