Job Summary:The WordPress & WooCommerce Technical Assistant is responsible for assisting with the building, setup, configuration, client onboarding, solving client support tickets, and front-end design processes for WordPress and WooCommerce platforms. This role will work closely with other technical team members to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our clients.ÿKey Responsibilities:1. Technical Support-ÿÿÿÿÿÿProvide timely and effective technical support to internal teams and external clients.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist in troubleshooting website issues and perform necessary fixes.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿDocument, comment, and update Jira tasks and issues regularly according to the provided guidelines.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿResponse to client?s issues through a ticketing system.ÿ2. Build, Setup, and Troubleshoot WordPress & WooCommerce Sites-ÿÿÿÿÿÿHandle the basic setup of WordPress & WooCommerce, including configuring general settings and installing essential plugins and themes is required.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿPopulate the site with initial content and set up WooCommerce for online stores, including product listings, payment gateways, shipping options, and more.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿHandle new client?s data migration jobs as needed.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿConduct tests for functionality and responsiveness across various devices and browsers and integrate analytics tools like Google Analytics.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿTroubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues.ÿ3. Front-End Design-ÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist in designing and implementing website layouts, user interfaces, and visual design tools.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿCollaborate with designers to ensure design consistency and user experience optimization.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿAdjust existing themes and templates to meet client needs.4. Documentation-ÿÿÿÿÿÿMaintain detailed records of configurations, updates, design changes, and client interactions.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿCreate and update technical and design guides and FAQs.ÿ5. Quality Assurance-ÿÿÿÿÿÿTest website functionalities and design elements to report any bugs or issues.-ÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure that all setups and designs meet company and industry standards.
