Kuwait Drilling Fluids & Oil Services is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to support the Supply Chain Division in strengthening supplier sourcing, vendor development, and procurement readiness for critical business requirements.The role is responsible for developing structured sourcing catalogues, identifying reliable local and international suppliers, supporting supplier evaluations, and preparing commercial intelligence to support effective negotiation and sourcing decisions.The ideal candidate will help improve supplier visibility, reduce dependency on limited supply sources, support business continuity, and enable the Supply Chain team to make more informed, cost-effective, and strategically aligned sourcing decisions.SkillsKey Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Management, or a related field.4?7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, supply chain, or category support.Experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals, industrial materials, or technical procurement is preferred.Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.Good understanding of supplier prequalification, commercial comparison, pricing analysis, procurement documentation, and vendor performance tracking.Ability to support negotiation activities through market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, pricing history, and commercial analysis.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination.Proactive, structured, and commercially aware, with the ability to support sourcing decisions that strengthen cost optimization, supply reliability, and business continuity.
